Ric Jackson - Trumpet, Trombone

Ric, brass (french horn, trombone, trumpet) teacher at the NJ School of Music in Cherry Hill, is a product of the Philadelphia Public Schools where his musical education began. Upon graduating from high school he went on to attend the Philadelphia Musical Academy, which is now known as the University of the Arts. Ricardo is a trumpeter, vocalist, composer and arranger. He has supplied scores and played for Theaters and facilities such as Freedom theatre and the Clef Club as well as various acts in the Tri-State area. He has been a musical director for The School District of Phila for the past 22 yrs, 13 of which has been spent leading the Simon Gratz High School Jazz Ensemble. The Jazz Ensemble  performed through out the Tri-State area for various organizations events and functions. Ricardo is also the leader of his own band entitled Brass Roots, which performs through out the Tri-State area.  Ricardo is a hardworking individual who loves the opportunity to educate in music and has a strong desire to create.
